Zinc Plating to ASTM B633 & MIL-STD-171

Zinc and Nickel Plating

Nickel electroplating is a process of depositing nickel onto a metal part. It provides a unique combination of corrosion and wear resistance. It can add brightness, luster and appeal. It also provides excellent adhesion properties for subsequent coating layers, which is why this process is often used as an undercoat for other coatings, such as chromium. We offer Zinc Plating to ASTM B633 and MIL-STD-171.

Zinc plating involves the coating of a thin layer of zinc metal onto the surface of another metal object for anti corrosion purposes. This coating creates a physical barrier that prevents rust from reaching the underlying metal surface. Rayco Metal Finishing can handle all of your z0inc and nickel plating requirements.  Please contact us for more information.
