We have achieved a reputation of providing high quality work with fast turnaround time at a fair price. One of our specialties is the processing of medical instruments for electropolishing and passivation. We are approved by the F.D.A. We have an extensive passivation line which includes the citric acid formula approved by U.S.S.C. We provide certifications to military specifications as well as commercial. To request samples or a consultation, call Mark Goldreich, Vice President, at (860) 347-7434, or send us a message.

Electroplating

Electroplating is the process of plating one metal onto another by hydrolysis, most commonly for decorative purposes or to prevent corrosion of a metal.

Anodizing

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Aluminum is ideally suited to anodizing.

Electropolishing

Electropolishing, is an electrochemical process that removes material from a metallic workpiece, reducing the surface roughness by levelling micro-peaks and valleys, improving the surface finish.

Chemical Film

Chemical Film is a chromate conversion coating which may be applied to aluminum parts in order to enhance corrosion protection while still maintaining conductivity.

Passivation

Passivation is the process of treating or coating a metal in order to reduce the chemical reactivity of its surface. In stainless steel, passivation means removing the free iron from the surface  using an acid solution to prevent rust.

Chromating & Bright Dip

Bright dipping services. Acid based chromate conversion coating services on copper and brass alloys are available. Used to protect and add shelf life to base materials.
